I’m going to level with you here. … I don’t like this. In fact, I kind of hate it. I haven’t liked it since the cleaned-up sketch phase. I am specifically posting this so that someone, somewhere, out there, on the ~internets~, will be nice and say, “Come on, it isn’t that bad.”

There is something about sketchbet that pulls the fan-artist out of me. I dont usually draw fan art, but now I’ve done several peices just this past MONTH to post on sketchbet!

Anyway. I love the character of Ptolemy. I love the relationship that he and Bartimaeus have. If you haven’t yet, you should totally read the Bartimaeus Trilogy.

My take on a character from one of my favorite book series, the Bartimaeus Trilogy. This is Ptolemy, or more accurately: Bartimaeus in his Ptolemy guise. The boy with ageless eyes, dark crystals full of stars!

So, the story is this, I actually drew this years ago, but the laptop it lived on was stolen, and I had failed to back up the file. So, I re-drew it completely from memory to show you guys!
